The Parable Of The Homes

By Ps. Joseph
04 Dec 2016

24 “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:
25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.
26 “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand:
27 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”
28 And so it was, when Jesus had ended these sayings, that the people were astonished at His teaching,
29 for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.
- Matthew 7:24-29 -

In Order To Move Into A Higher Realm In The Spirit

By Ps. Joseph
30 Oct 2016

  1. Bury your dead out of sight
Sarah lived one hundred and twenty-seven years; these were the years of the life of Sarah. So Sarah died in Kirjath Arba (that is, Hebron) in the land of Canaan, and Abraham came to mourn for Sarah and to weep for her. Then Abraham stood up from before his dead, and spoke to the sons of Heth, saying, “I am a foreigner and a visitor among you. Give me property for a burial place among you, that I may bury my dead out of my sight.” (Genesis 23:1-4)
    - they may be good things (past successes), but they are dead and obsolete

  2. Enter into God's gates and His courts
Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,
And into His courts with praise.
Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. (Psalm 100:4)

  3. Release your spirit in tongues
    - when your spirit is strong, nothing can bog you down

By Ps. Joseph
23 Oct 2016

God is releasing a hunger and thirst to seek after Him and His righteousness.

There are 3 types of people that don't hunger and thirst:
  1. Those that are full
    - are we filled with things not of God?
  2. Those that are sick
  3. Those that are dead

What God Says About His Untouchable, Indestructible Army

By Ps. Joseph

Jeremiah 1:17-19
Therefore prepare yourself and arise, and speak to them all that I command you. Do not be dismayed before their faces, lest I dismay you before them.
For behold, I have made you this day a fortified city and an iron pillar, and bronze walls against the whole land – against the kings of Judah, against its princes, against its priests, and against the people of the land.
They will fight against you, but they shall not prevail against you. For I am with you, says the Lord, to deliver you.

Luke 10:19
Behold, I give you the [power and] authority to trample on serpents [the devil and his evil angels] and scorpions [demons], and over all the power of the enemy [satan, whether in the spiritual or natural realm], and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Psalm 91
...Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler [the cunning devices of the devil] and from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge [shielded by the force field of God’s presence]; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night [a secret invasion], nor for the arrow [rocket, missile] that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness [germ warfare], nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday [atomic warfare].
A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you [supernatural protection]. Only with your eyes shall you look, and see the reward of the wicked.
…No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; for He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways [a canopy of angels around us like a bubble]. In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone. You shall tread upon the lion [the counterfeit of the Lion of Judah, the devil going about as a roaring lion] and the cobra, the young lion, and the serpent you shall trample under foot.
…I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honour him. With long life [resurrection life] I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation [deliverance and triumphant victory]

"He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honour him...and show him My salvation."

Time we spend with the Lord in prayer can release the most dynamic, history-changing power this world has ever known.

Our prayer as a body together can only be as strong as our personal times with the Lord.

How Much Does A Prayer Weigh?

By Ps. Joseph
30 Jul 2016

How much does a prayer weigh?

There is a story of a grocery store owner who tried to weigh one. A tired-looking woman came into the store and asked for enough food to make a dinner for her children. The grocer asked her how much she could spend. The frail woman answered, "I have nothing to offer but a little prayer."
The storekeeper was not very sentimental nor religious, so he said, half-mockingly, "Write it on paper, and I'll weigh it." So she did. The grocer placed the paper on the weight side of his old-fashioned scales. Then he began piling food on the other side; but to his amazement, the scale would not go down. He finally became flustered and gave the woman a large bag of food.
The grocer never saw the woman again, but he treasures the slip of paper upon which the woman's prayer had been written; "Please, Lord, give us this day our daily bread."

The Door of Divine Opportunity

By Ps. Joseph
10 Jul 2016

He set before us doors of Opportunities.  These doors may be hidden behind crises, obstacles or disappointments or a host of others difficulties but they are doors open by God.

They may try to close the doors of divine opportunity but they will not succeed.  When your work and motivation are acceptable to the Lord, you can expect to receive His help and no earthly power can stand against the Lord God Almighty.
